I build practical, real-world software for Zimbabwean institutions and communities. My work ranges from offline-first mobile apps for small-scale farmers to live government systems and AI-powered platforms, all built with limited connectivity in mind.
I'm Christian Munashe Chifuzhe, a software engineer based in Harare, Zimbabwe. I work across the full stack: Flutter mobile, Python backends, web frontends, and AI-assisted data pipelines.
My focus is building software that solves real problems for real people. My projects span government digital infrastructure, agricultural technology, and AI-assisted procurement, all designed around Zimbabwe's connectivity constraints.
That's meant building offline-first apps, generating PDF certificates that replace paper forms, and helping a rural farmer diagnose sick chickens from their phone.
Where I've put in the hours.
Completed a 10-month IT internship at TMPCZ, a statutory body under Zimbabwe's
Ministry of Health and Child Care. Worked across both software
development and IT infrastructure.
Software: Designed and built the full TMPCZ practitioner management
system: registration, licensing, EcoCash renewals, PDF certificate generation,
audit logs, and a public web portal. Deployed as both a web app and a desktop application
now live at tmpcz.org.zw.
Infrastructure: Installed and configured Starlink connectivity,
set up LAN cabling and routers, managed datacenter cooling, and administered
Wi-Fi accounts for staff.

Full practitioner management system for a statutory council of Zimbabwe. Handles practitioner registration and licensing, EcoCash payment renewals, PDF certificate generation, audit logs, and a public-facing web portal. Deployed simultaneously as a web application and a packaged desktop app, serving real practitioners across the country.
Offline-first mobile app for small-scale broiler farmers in rural Zimbabwe. AI health scanner covers 10 diseases using pixel analysis and an expert symptom system. Includes batch requirements calculator, financial tracking, and vaccination schedules.
AI-powered procurement evaluation built for Zimbabwe's public procurement context. Processes tender documents, evaluates bidder compliance, detects price anomalies via NLP, performs semantic document matching, and generates detailed PDF evaluation reports.
Full-featured website for an agricultural supplies business with branches in Harare, Bindura, and Bulawayo. Agrochemicals, veterinary medicines, seeds, and fertilizers, with WhatsApp integration, product catalog, event listings, and branch locations.
